YMC Heads to Greece With "Wish You Were" Capsule
A summer holiday-themed release.

After taking inspiration from Bauhaus for Fall/Winter 2017, British label YMC has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2018 collection with a lookbook shot in Greece. The location reflects the capsule’s title — “Wish You Were Here” — and holiday theme. The collection itself sees the brand mix influences and materials from across the world, with everything from Mexican folk art to safari prints and Italian linen to British waxed cotton.
The collection’s color palette also reflects the summer holiday theme, with pastel tones sitting alongside pieces in navy and ecru. Elsewhere, key pieces include a selection of Italian linen candy stripe zip shirts, cropped peg trousers and Japanese selvedge denim accessories. The collection also features footwear, with YMC putting its take on the classic desert boot and boat shoe silhouettes.
Take a look through the lookbook — shot by photographer Chris Kontos — with some pieces already available on the YMC web store and the rest set to drop on February 5.
