A Closer Look at Slam Jam x 424 x Alpha Industries Collaboration
Featuring a range of military-influenced pieces.
With news arriving late last year that Slam Jam had teamed up with 424 and Alpha Industries on a capsule of reworked archive pieces, the three-way collaboration has now begun arriving in stores. The capsule was designed by 424’s Guillermo Andrade and includes military-inspired outerwear, as well as a helmet bag and ripped trousers.
Arguably the standout piece is the military kimono, which comes in a patchwork of materials and colors. Elsewhere, the collection features classic outerwear silhouettes such as a field jacket, deck jacket and a parka. The collection predominantly comes in a military green, with detailing including 424’s classic red armband and an anarchy symbol.
The full collection is available now at retailers including London’s Machine-A – both in store and online – with prices ranging from £270 GBP (approx. $385 USD) for the helmut back to £1485 GBP (approx. $2115 USD) for the kimono. As well as launching this collaboration, Slam Jam has recently announced plans for its first ever New York pop-up.
