Stone Island Shadow Project Launches Print-Filled Spring/Summer 2018 Lookbook
More innovative fabrics from the brand’s ultra-technical line.
Iconic Italian label Stone Island has returned with the lookbook for the Spring/Summer 2018 collection from its ultra technical Shadow Project line. For this capsule, the brand has taken inspiration from contrasting sources with the ideas of “expression through removal” and “opacity and transparency” influencing the collection.
Key elements of this collection are the printed pieces, with one print appearing similar to a spiders web while another is created using corrosion and stone washing. The Spring/Summer 2018 collection also features the innovative materials that Stone Island is known for, with fabrics including the durable NASLAN as well as LUCID FLOCK, a translucent and ultra lightweight nylon material. As well as launching the Spring/Summer 2018 lookbook, Stone Island is also hosting its first ever North American pop-up.
