Listen to a New Single From Phife Dawg, "Wanna Dance"

It’s been nearly a year since the untimely, tragic death of A Tribe Called Quest legend Phife Dawg, but that hasn’t stopped a posthumous run of releases. Just two days after Q-Tip and company delivered one of the best 2017 Grammy performances, a new Phife Dawg track has surfaced. Reconnecting with close collaborator and veteran singer-songwriter Dwele, Phife Dawg re-emerges on the smooth, Mike City-produced “Wanna Dance.” Released as one of the lead singles in support of Dwele’s forthcoming studio album Same Book… New Chapter, “Wanna Dance” serves as Phife Dawg’s second posthumous drop. Besides its appearance as one of the songs on Dwele’s next LP, today’s cut will also appear on Phife Dawg’s first posthumous solo project – Forever.
