The Nike Air Max 1 Pinnacle Emerges in Black/Anthracite

Nike‘s sleek Air Max 1 Pinnacle silhouette returns in a half-and-half, monochrome colorway. Balancing a dark upper with a clean Anthracite midsole, the shoe offers a clean take on the classic style.
A dark nubuck upper complements matching laces, with everything from the heel to the toe executed in tonal dark hues. The muted color even obscures the branding, with the Swoosh made slightly more visible by virtue of the nubuck being executed in a darker black than the full grain leather beneath it. An off-white midsole offers a strong — but not jarring — contrast to the subdued upper, evoking a ying-yang-like balance between the two extremes.
