Mark Ronson & Tame Impala's Kevin Parker Unveil "Summer Breaking/Daffodils" Video
Maybe the best video in support of ‘Uptown Special’ yet.
For his wildly-sucessful 2015 studio album Uptown Special, Mark Ronson joined forces with Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker for two new songs. Entitled “Summer Breaking” and “Daffodils,” the tracks served as some of the standout selections of Ronson’s Uptown Special. Now, the pair have delivered an expansive, two-part video for both songs. The visual for “Summer Break/Daffodils” comes to us courtesy of Theo Wenner and comes to us a sort of “day-in-the-life-of” feature. Speaking on the effort, Ronson delivered the following statement:
“Summer Breaking” is probably my personal favorite on Uptown Special. And seeing as Kevin and Tame Impala are so hot right now, we thought we could really make the most of this “hotness” by making a video for not one but two of his songs from Uptown Special, “Summer Breaking” and “Daffodils.” Theo Wenner made a beautiful video that really captures (and goes beyond) what we were envisioning when Michael Chabon wrote those haunting lyrics.
