Elevated, ’90s-inspired streetwear staples.
Rochambeau claims that its 2016 fall/winter collection was inspired by Bishop’s outfits in Juice, and while the runway didn’t quite recreate ‘Pac’s denim jacket-hoodie-crewneck combination, it definitely had some ’90s vibes: the brand’s presentation featured oversized outerwear, varsity jackets, puffy gilets and wide-leg pants. The color palette is earthy, with hits of cream and orange providing the occasional highlight. Outerwear truly stole the show, with varsity jackets and hooded poncho parkas with contrasting elbow patches, serving as centerpieces for some intricately layered looks.
Keeping one foot in the now and the other steeped in nostalgia yields a collection that elevates streetwear classics while remaining decidedly on-trend.
