maharishi Enters The Witness Protection Program for Spring/Summer 2018

Japanese detailing informs the militaristic gear.

London’s maharishi returns with a new selection of militaristic clothing equally influenced by Japanese craftsmanship and Western streetwear. Upcycled pieces are complemented by organic cottons and comfortable fits, with plenty of eye-catching graphics.

With all the model’s faces blocked out, maharishi’s Spring/Summer 2018 lookbook offers glimpses of a wide assortment of gear in spring-ready colors and fabrics, keeping in line with its focus of ethical production and textile sourcing. Like the brand’s recent delivery of goods, Eastern influences, like tapered trousers and sashiko-style stitches, appear throughout the collection — with maharishi’s recognizable branding further accenting the items. Military influences appear in the form of bomber jackets, camouflage layers and multi-pocketed jackets, adding a contemporary air by blending the armed forces functionality with slouchy styling.

Shop the range as it hits maharishi’s web store. Recently the label teamed up with Richard Russell for an exclusive “Everything is Recorded” T-shirt, playing off of the album’s cover art.
