The Awkwardly Designed Cheero Headphones With Charging Dock Are Apple Approved
It even has its own exclusive app.

Cheero has developed a pair of Lightning headphones with a Lightning dongle for iPhone users who can’t charge their phones and listen to music at the same time. The Cheero Earphones with Charging Dock start out like standard earbuds that stretch down to a smart controller that adjusts volume, navigates calls and summons Siri.
From there, a cable leads to the Lightning jack which then splits off to the dongle for charging, thus completing the cumbersome design. This third-party splitter costs ¥2,980 JPY (aprox. $28 USD) and, according to Cheero’s product site, is MFi-approved, which means it’s an officially-licensed Apple accessory. It even has its own “exclusive application” called Cheero Ear in the App Store in Asia that allows access to preset settings with continual updates for “optimal sound quality.”
The peripheral is meant to accommodate those who have yet to adapt to Apple’s new radical iPhone designs following the removal of its 3.5mm headphone jack with the iPhone 7. Import your own from sites like Amazon and Rakuten today.
