BAPE Opens Los Angeles Flagship Store
Celebrating with G-wagons and a Milo photoshoot.
BAPE’s expansion tale continues. The international street label’s latest addition is a 2,500-square-foot store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. The flagship marks BAPE’s return to the West Coast after the first store closed in 2010. The interior is designed with a formation of a triangular “X Barrisol” architectural ceiling. The shop spans two floors complete with granite marble walls. As expected, an opening fleet of camo BAPE cars, notably, Mercedes Benz G-wagons guard the entrance.
To ensure a novel experience for fans, the brand released a set of exclusive necessities. The capsule features Los Angeles specific tees, hoodies, caps and accessories on timeless designs. Moreover, a special BAPE x mastermind JAPAN collaboration will launch at the foothold to include a parka, snowboard jacket, souvenir jacket, shorts and more.
