Toro Y Moi Drops New 'Outer Peace' Single, "Ordinary Pleasure"
Chaz’s new album is set to drop January 18.
Following the announcement his forthcoming album, singer-songwriter-and-producer Toro Y Moi follows up his “Freelancer” single with “Ordinary Pleasure.” The soulful yet whimsical track highlights the embracing sounds Chaz Bear is going for in his new Outer Peace project, which he describes as “music for a creative mind.” The track utilizes a funky bassline and bongo sounds for the percussions, while Bear’s words provide an almost lamenting mantra of repeating lyrics before stating “it’s always the same as always.”
Check out the track above and grab Outer Peace on January 18.
