UPDATE: Initially thought to kick off 2019, the Nike PG 2.5 “PlayStation” in royal will be one of the final drops of 2018 from Nike Basketball. The Sony-inspired kicks were worn by Paul George yesterday during the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Christmas game against the Houston Rockets where PG contributed 28 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assist and 3 steals in a four-point loss. The next Nike PG 2.5 “PlayStation” arrives on December 27 for $110 USD at select Nike Basketball retailers and Nike SNKRS.

Earlier in the month, Nike Basketball followed up the original Nike PG 2 “PlayStation” with a grey version using the Nike PG 2.5. Today, we take a look at the third chapter in the Sony-inspired series. The new Nike PG 2.5 welcomes a shade of PlayStation’s signature blue throughout its entire upper. Similar to the aforementioned 2.5, the strap and heel area incorporates the controller’s button icons with mismatched logos – PG and PlayStation – on the right and left tongues, respectively. Additional details include speckles on its midsole, a translucent outsole and a callout to PG13’s full name on each heel.

The next Nike PG 2.5 “PlayStation” installment is expected to drop sometime in 2019 for $110 USD at select Nike Basketball retailers and Nike SNKRS. Browse the shots above and let us know which one you think is the best of the three. Paul George fans can also take a look at the PG 2.5’s “Pendleton” colorway.
