It was only last month that Meek Mill was incarcerated for a harsh 2-4 year sentence due to probation violations — thought to be the result of denying his judge a shoutout in a Boyz II Men “On Bended Knee” remake he refused to do. Since the whole ordeal, there has been support from fellow artists like Drake, Jay-Z, and Rick Ross among others.
Joining in to show his support, Lil Uzi Vert took the opportunity to bring light to the situation during the finale of the Lil Uzi Christmas tour, by inviting Meek Mill’s son on stage during the Philadelphia performance (his hometown). Understandably, the preteen was very nervous, but made it through entire the length of “Dreams and Nightmares (Intro)” in front of thousands of fans. It’s unfortunate the boy will have to spend this Christmas without his father. For a clip of the heartwarming performance, check out the video above.
