Diesel Founder Reportedly Interested in Taking Over Roberto Cavalli
OTB currently controls Diesel, Maison Margiela and Marni.
OTB, the fashion conglomerate headed by Diesel founder Renzo Rosso, is reportedly interested in taking control of Italian label Roberto Cavalli. As well as controlling Diesel, OTB is also the parent company behind labels including Maison Margiela, Marni and Viktor & Rolf.
Roberto Cavalli is currently controlled by a private equity firm named Clessidra, and is being advised by Rothschild in its search for a buyer. Renzo Rosso’s OTB group is believed to be one of around 10 parties interested in taking control of the Italian house.
