BSTN Teams up With Jordan Brand to Produce the Ducati 916 "Concord"
Reimagining the iconic sneaker.
Inspired by the recent Air Jordan 11 “Concord,” German-based retailer BSTN has teamed up with Jordan Brand and customization workshop IMPULS to produce a one-a-kind Ducati 916 motorcycle.
Both the AJ11 “Concord” and the Ducati 916 share a unique legacy dating back to the 1990s, dominating both the court and racetrack within their respective fields. The unique project utilized 3D-print technology in order to replicate the Air Jordan 11 design concept.
Fitted with a custom two-tone exterior that mimics the black and white “Concord” coloring, the bike is accented with icy-clear rubber handle bars, inspired by the sneaker’s outsole, and a laser-engraving of JAY-Z’s “Back like 45” lyric on the brake discs. Throughout the exterior of the bike are some of Michael Jordan‘s achievements as well as various Jordan Brand and BSTN branding hits.
In 2017, BSTN celebrated Nike’s legacy in a similar fashion by outfitting varying vehicles for the sportswear company’s AF100 campaign.
