Last month, we shared a look at the adidas 98 X Crazy BYW in a crisp “Crystal White” colorway. Today, the Three Stripes gears for another launch in a contrasting black iteration. Officially made up of “Core Black/Utility Black-Solar Red,” the hybrid sneaker’s design welcomes a Crazy BYW X outsole which supports its bulky Crazy 2 upper. Soft mesh and leather overlays join forces on the upper which shares a profound adidas logo on each lateral side and tongue. BOOST cushioning in the heel tops off the design in white to add a small dose of contrast to the dark upper and outsole.
The adidas 98 X Crazy BYW “Core Black” arrives on December 12 for $160 USD at select adidas stockists in addition to adidas.com. Three Stripes fans can also take a look at the brand new UltraBOOST 19.
