‘True Detective’ Season 3 New Trailer Showcases an Aging Mahershala Ali
Attempting to solve a grisly missing children’s case.
HBO has released a new trailer for the highly anticipated True Detective season 3 starring Moonlight‘s Mahershala Ali and Stephen Dorff from Blade. Co-starring Carmen Ejogo, Mamie Gummer, Ray Fisher, and Scoot McNairy, the plot will see the two detectives attempting to solve a grisly missing children’s case set in the Ozarks during the 1980s. Similar to the first season, the story will jump between three time periods as Ali looks back on the case.
