A First Look at maharishi's Full Nike Collaboration
Featuring two Air Bowfin 270 colorways and three Air Force 1 designs.
After releasing a teaser for the upcoming Nike collaboration recently, London-based label maharishi has now officially unveiled the full capsule. The joint release includes three different silhouettes, with the Air Force 1 High Premium, Air Force 1 Low Utility Premium and Air Max 270 Bowfin Premium all redesigned with nods to maharishi’s Fall/Winter 2018 “International Redactioniste” collection.
The Air Force 1 High Premium comes in red or navy and has been wrapped in a wool upper as a nod to military officer uniforms, stadium jackets and the Moon Melton wool used by maharishi. The Swoosh is also reworked featuring classic maharishi themes, with intricate embroidered golden dragons and tigers making up the motif. Lastly, the sneaker is finished with maharishi’s redacted MILTYPE branding. The redacted text also appears on the Air Force 1 Low Utility, which features a woven ripstop complete with all-over redacted document print.
Lastly, the Air Max 270 Bowfin Premium is wrapped in two different colorways of maharishi’s house “Bonsai” camouflage. Both the black and the green colorways are contructed from a ripstop upper, with 3M reflective DPM. The sneaker is finished with a camo footbed, MILTYPE webbing through the lacing system, a redacted Swoosh and redacted MILTYPE branding on the toe guard.
The footwear collection will release alongside a series of limited-edition T-shirts featuring the graphics that formed the basis of the collaboration. The raffle for the three collaborative silhouettes is open now via maharishi’s web store, and will run until 12PM GMT on November 29. Nike By You will also allow consumers to create unique versions of the silhouettes using a digital 3D builder. This will begin on December 10.
This isn’t maharishi’s only footwear release, with the label recently bringing back the maha Tabi.
