After four DLC episodes were announced earlier this year, Final Fantasy XV publisher Square Enix has released a trailer for the Ardyn-themed episode. The add-on is set before the the events of Final Fantasy XV, and tells Ardyn’s backstory. Square Enix describes the episode as “a story of death and restoration” and revealed that it will release in March 2019.

As well as giving a first look at the new episode in the trailer, Square Enix has also announced that it has canceled the other three DLC episodes. Originally intended to focus on Aranea, Luna and Noctis, the new installments have been dropped following director Hajime Tabata leaving the company last month. Announcing his departure, Tabata added: “I have a project that I truly wish to solidify as my next challenge after FFXV. For that reason, I have decided to leave my current position and start my own business in order to achieve my goal.”

In other gaming news, Nier: Automata is coming to Soulcalibur VI.
