Take A Look Inside Le Corbusier's Personal Apartment in Paris
Designed by the architect in the 1930s.
The Paris apartment that legendary architect Le Corbusier called home for over 30 years has re-opened to the public, following two years of renovations. The apartment is located in the Immeuble Molitor, a residential building designed by Le Corbusier and his regular collaborator Pierre Jeanneret that was built between 1931 and 1934.
The renovation — completed by Fondation Le Corbusier — has returned the two storey apartment to how it would have looked while the architect lived there. Stand-out rooms in the apartment include the kitchen — complete with sweeping views across Paris — as well as an art studio and an ocean liner-inspired bedroom.
