Back in 2012, DMX made headlines with his own, very unique live rendition of the Christmas classic “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” Five years later, the 46-year-old icon returns with the official studio version of the track.

Originally created during an interview, DMX’s version of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” is finally available in high-quality streaming thanks to a new holiday playlist from Spotify. Besides X’s contribution, other new records from Wyclef Jean, Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus are also included on Spotify’s latest roundup. While today’s offering isn’t exactly DMX’s latest major single, recent efforts like “Bain Iz Back” are hopefully signs of things to come.

You can stream the official version of DMX’s “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and compare it to the original viral video below. Outside of music, DMX has also been working with some pretty big names in fashion: earlier this month, the platinum-selling artist served as the star of Engineered Garments and Timberland’s new collaborative campaign.
