Danny Brown's Apple Music Doc Has Been Shelved
“Crying right now because of it … really hurt about the whole situation.”
Bad news Danny Brown fans. Remember that Live at the Majestic documentary that was teased earlier this month? Well, it looks like it may never see the light of day.
Originally slated for a release on November 7, the Andrew Cohn-directed concert footage never made its way to Apple Music. Brown confirmed the fate of the documentary to fans on Twitter yesterday, saying that it’s “not coming out” and had “pretty much” been shelved by Apple. The Detroit rapper didn’t offer any specifics as to why it hadn’t been released, but was clearly torn up about it, Tweeting, “Crying right now because of it … really hurt about the whole situation.”
Stay tuned for more info on Brown’s ill-fated Apple Music release and here’s to hoping it sees the light of day in one form or another.
