Christian Bale Has a Tough Mission Ahead in New 'Hostiles' Trailer

The new trailer for the movie Hostiles, envisioned by Black Mass director Scott Cooper has been released. It was initially teased back in September but now we’re given a better look at this gritty Western tale. Christian Bale plays main protagonist, Captain Joseph J. Blocker — a U.S. cavalry officer who has been tasked to take on a dangerous mission. He must accompany a Cheyenne war chief and his family back to Montana to their tribal territory.
As shown by the trailer, the task will not be an easy one as gangs of bandits and other predatory characters will get in the way. Hardly any of the members making the trek will be safe and they will be challenged each and every step of the way. Hostiles also stars Rosamund Pike, Ben Foster and Jesse Plemons. Watch the trailer above and look out for its opening on December 29.
