Zeds Dead, Pusha T & Rivers Cuomo Reconnect for "Too Young" Claymation Video
A “comment on darker sides of our ever more ‘social-media connected’ society.”
[gallery columns="3"]Earlier this month, Zeds Dead finally released their anticipated debut studio album. Dubbed Northern Lights, the project was promoted with singles featuring Twin Shadow, Pusha T, and others. As the DJ-duo continues to tour across the world in support of their first proper LP, a new visual for the Northern Lights single has emerged. For the Rivers Cuomo and Pusha T collaboration “Too Young,” Zeds Dead link up with director Chris Ullens to create a unique claymation piece about the internet community’s infatuation and unhealthy relationship with social media. “Zeds Dead’s “Too Young” has a cool style: it attracts you because it’s catchy and solid, but then slaps you in the face with the darker lyrics. So I wanted to emulate that in the film: make an attractive and colorful world, but then comment on darker sides of our ever more ‘social-media connected’ society,” explains Ullens. You can view the video for “Too Young” above, while Northern Lights is available for purchase and streaming now.
