Archie Maher Spotlights His Stone Island Obsession for 'The New Paninaro' Video Lookbook
One of the world’s most devoted Stone Island collectors.
Dazed documents the world of one of Stone Island’s most devoted collectors and superfans in a new vignette. Showcasing Arco Maher founder Archie Maher, Dazed and director Will Reid provide a glimpse at Maher’s impressive 160+ item Stone Island collection and allow for him to spill his feelings about the brand he loves. “Stone Island has played a significant part in many different subcultures,” explains Maher in an interview with Dazed. The clip, titled The New Paninaro, presents a new Arco Maher lookbook and features appearances from James Magee, Tia O’Donell, Luke Storey and Kesang Ball. Breaking down his video’s titular inspiration, Maher tells Dazed: “The first people to truly take on Stone Island as their own, in the mid-80s, were a group of young and rich girls and guys from Milan – known as the Paninaro.” You can check out Arco Maher – The New Paninaro above.
