Noted sneaker artist, The Shoe Surgeon, returns to unveil a new custom creation, this time blending two of the most revered sneaker silhouettes in recent memory to create one distinct hybrid. A quick look is all that is needed for true sneakerheads to pick up noticeable cues from both the Nike Air Max 1 “atmos Elephant” and the Air Jordan 1 High in what is being referred to as the Air Jordan 1 “atmos.”

Conceptually similar to what we have seen in past creations, the bespoke designer blankets the signature model in a host of luxe textiles, namely, soft leathers and python skin. With the aforementioned AM1 used as a creative blueprint, Jade Swooshes hit the side areas, with the easily-recognizable elephant print found on the toe, heel and rear collar area. The statement sneaker will release in limited numbers via The Shoe Surgeon’s online shop as of October 13.

In other sneaker news, Taka Hayashi & Vans Vault came together on a military-inspired capsule.
