Centre Pompidou is presenting a major retrospective exhibition on iconic Japanese architect, Tadao Ando. Entitled “The Challenge,” the forthcoming presentation will chronicle a total of fifty significant projects helmed by the Pritzker Prize winner. More precisely, it will involve four main themes spanning “the primitive form of space, the challenge of the urban, the genesis of the project and the dialogue with history,” stated the institution.
The retrospective will launch from October 10 until December 31. Head over to Centre Pompidou’s website to learn more. In related stories, Zaha Hadid Architects were recently chosen to design the new Sverdlovsk Philharmonic Concert Hall in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
