T-Pain Revisits His Biggest Hits for "Mashup"
His new album is set to arrive in November.

This past summer, T-Pain made an appearance on To The Beat with Kurt Hugo Schneider, an online program which presents new takes on previously-released records. With Schneider leading the way on keys and violin, T-Pain delivered a mash-up of his hit songs “Buy U A Drank,” “I’m ‘n Luv (wit a Stripper),” “F.B.G.M.” and “Best Love Song,” creating a new music video along the way. Revisiting that standout effort, the T-Wayne singer serves up his own studio single in support of his To The Beat outing.
Simply titled “Mashup,” T-Pain’s Kurt Hugo Schneider-guided release follows in the exact same vein of his To The Beat performance and comes to us without any of his usual Auto-Tune supplementation. Most notably, the song is being released as part of the promotional campaign for T-Pain’s new studio album, OBLiViON. His first LP in six years, OBLiViON comes on the heels of the joint “What You Like” single with 24hrs and the high-profile Steve Aoki, Yellow Claw and Gucci Mane collaboration, “Lit.”
