Sacai & Polaroid Originals to Release Limited Edition SX-70 Foldable Camera
In blue and red versions.
Sacai recently teamed up with Polaroid Originals to launch a special edition SX-70 model. The collaborative, instant film camera will release in blue and red versions that are both embellished with minimal Sacai branding. The device was first introduced in 1972, debuting as the first instant SLR camera ever made.
The camera will release exclusively at Sanyo Tamagawa Tsuya appliance shop in Japan on November 27 followed by a photography exhibition at Sacai Aoyama . Each iteration will cost you ¥110,000 JPY (approx. $981 USD). Elsewhere in tech, Huawei recently unveiled four new Mate 20 smartphones.
