Nike Adds “Black Leather” to Growing Air Max 90/1 Lineup

Since debuting earlier this spring, Nike’s hybrid Air Max 90/1 silhouette has dropped in a range of colorways, doing well to attract both AM1 and AM90 aficionados, as well as hardcore Swoosh fans alike. Last spotted in a cool “Laser Blue” palette, the contemporary mashup now comes to us sporting a “Black Leather” motif.
Complementing the all-leather upper is a matching-hued rubber sole unit, complete with Nike’s trademark Air unit. White found on the side Swoosh, tongue and heel branding helps break up the monochromatic scheme, providing the only hint of color contrast anywhere. Priced at $190 USD, you can look for this new Air Max model via Nike’s online shop come October 8.
