UK legend Mike Skinner‘s acclaimed act The Streets are coming back for a very special series of comeback shows. Taking to Instagram, Skinner revealed plans for six performances in the United Kingdom, pinpointing April 19 to April 26 as the scheduled dates. “Spoken to my band! told them we need to sing the old songs! on sale 9am Friday 13th,” reads a caption on Mike Skinner’s Instagram announcement. In a move that should please many of the project’s longtime fans, it looks like each show on this tour will unfold like a sort of “greatest hits” performance.

It’s been over six years since the very last The Streets studio album, Computers and Blues, hit shelves. Continuing to remain active in music in recent years, The Streets architect Mike Skinner has taken part in other creative ventures such as The D.O.T.and a handful of other collaborative efforts since closing the chapter on his most famous endeavor. American hip-hop heroes such as Danny Brown have also counted The Streets and Mike Skinner as major influences on their own beloved works.

You can take a look at the dates for the forthcoming The Streets UK comeback tour below, and stay tuned for more information regarding possible future shows.
