Hulu's 'Castle Rock' Is a Mash-up of Stephen King's Horror Classics

Warner Bros. have unveiled the first look of Castle Rock with a teaser trailer for New York Comic Con. The Stephen King-inspired anthology series is expected to begin streaming in 2018 on Hulu. Dustin Thomason, the show’s executive producer and creator, described it as an original story that “brushes up against the characters” from King’s many stories.

There are even other references to classic King tales throughout the series such as a location called the Shawshank Prison from The Shawshank Redemption and promises an interconnectivity within each story. This project pays homage to a certain time and cinema just as Netflix‘s Stranger Things does. Check the trailer above and share your thoughts below.
