Little Dragon Announce New EP & Share "Lover Chanting" Single
“Dance for peace and unity in this world of madness!”

A few weeks after teaming up with BADBADNOTGOOD for “Tried,” Little Dragon have served up a new single of their own, “Lover Chanting.”
Little Dragon’s new “Lover Chanting” record serves as the lead single and title track for their forthcoming EP. Made up of four new songs, Lover Chanting stands as the follow-up to last year’s Season High album. According to Little Dragon, their new EP is about the “force of love,” including the concept of love’s power as “the ultimate ecstasy.”
“It started with Fred searching for a wedding march inspired by a Swedish prog-funk folk keyboardist called Merit Hemmingson,” Little Dragon share via press release, breaking down the origins of today’s drop. “Erik got inspired by the track and started singing! After Erik wrote his vocal verses Yukimi got a bit worried about his lyrical abilities and stepped in to add her part on the song. Håkan flew to Germany to record a beautifully tuned clavinet. Once the clavinet was recorded Fred and Erik added their flavor with some drums and deep synth bass.”

Earlier this year, Christian Rich, Little Dragon and Vic Mensa came together for “Dripping Summers.”
