STARZ released the first trailer of American Gods season 2 at New York Comic Con. The upcoming second season continues the story of Neil Gaiman’s fantasy drama novel and shows returning gods — Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) and Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane) — clash with the new gods.

The second season picks up right after the end of the first season, continuing with Shadow and Mr. Wednesday’s road trip across America, as the former learns about the latter’s true identity. Old gods are met with new gods, such as Mama-Ji (Sakina Jaffrey) and Mr. Town (Dean Winters).

American Gods season 2 will arrive in 2019. Watch the trailer above and share your thoughts in the comments below.
