It’s been almost a year since we got our last trailer, but we now have new visuals for the Philip Reeve-adapted Mortal Engines film. The new trailer debuted out of New York Comic Con by producer Peter Jackson, who has signed on to assist his visual effect supervisor Christian Rivers’ directorial debut.

The footage above reintroduces us to the deadly assassin Hester Shaw (Hera Hilmar), who is seeking to avenge her mother’s death. She subsequently ends up leading a revolution against London historian Thaddeus Valentine (Hugo Weaving), who’s uncovered a weapon that could obliterate the new world order. It’s also worth mentioning the story takes place in a post-apocalyptic Europe where cities like London traverse the desert ground due to the fallout of a 60-minute nuclear war.

Check out the visuals above, then check out the new Dragon Ball Super: Broly trailer.
