American Gods is the latest series to come from STARZ and, if this trailer is anything to go by, it will be must-watch TV. The Neil Gaiman adaptation stars Ricky Whittle, who UK readers will recognise from his time on soap series Hollyoaks, and Ian McShane, who last starred in John Wick: Chapter 2 (as well as being the longstanding star of another British TV show, Lovejoy), as the two main characters. There’s copious amounts of gore, a viking ship, zombies, animals with flaming eyes and a bar fight thrown in for good measure. The show will debut April 30 on STARZ.

If you need a change of pace after this intense trailer, you can view a preview of Megan Leavey, a true-life story about a soldier who completed over 100 missions alongside a military dog named rex, here.
