Japanese fashion mainstay visvim returns with another collection of East-meets-West goods, with enough lightweight staples to survive the summer heat in style.
Recognizable items like the brand’s iconic Skagway sneakers and Social Sculpture denim return, while other staples receive a seasonal twist: the brand’s Sanjuro jacket is executed in off-white “Highland Knit.” New pieces include T-shirts and sweaters boasting new sketches and prints, as well as the “Dharma Shirt,” bearing Chinese button knot fastenings. Plenty of other tweaked goods are on hand, including the baseball-referencing “Dugout shirt” and a variety of denim chore jackets.
Expect the new items to hit visvim’s webstore and stockists in the coming months. Meanwhile, the brand recently explored the laborious process of creating its beautiful Albumen Coated Hemp Cloth in a new Dissertation.
