Balenciaga Unveils a Branded Speed Low in Blue
The sock-shoe trend continues.
2017 was a banner year for Balenciaga; during that period, the legendary luxury label earned widespread recognition for the “ultra-chunky, dad-tinged” Triple S Trainer, show-stealing runway presentations and its successful attempts at rejuvenating recent trends. Capitalizing on that momentum, the brand continues its focus on unorthodox sneakers with the unveiling of the blue Speed Low trainers.
Created by Demna Gvasalia, the new Speed Low sneakers feature a sock-like stretch fit, polyester exterior and lining, and a sturdy rubber sole and combines a clean blue upper with a white, cream and red bottom. Most notably, the recognizable BB logo is displayed prominently on the item, giving the branding portion an artful platform.
