Is Virgil Abloh's Off-White™ Teaming up With Nike for a World Cup Release?

Virgil Abloh and his brand Off-White™ are off to a busy start this 2018. While we’re still seeing some residual effects of his grand Nike collab, it looks like Abloh has another trick up his sleeve for this summer — a Swoosh partnership involving World Cup soccer.

The global sports event starts this June and takes place in Russia. As for the suspected team-up, it looks like a leak by way of Twitter account @py_rates revealed that there will be apparel and a soccer ball release involved in the drop. Unfortunately, there is no word of a release month or specific date for the capsule. There also might still be a chance of a footwear model being included, but no hard evidence as of yet. With World Cup being already such a big event, the addition of a Virgil partnership should get Swoosh fans even more excited.
