Astrid Andersen Mixes Country Western With Sportswear for Fall/Winter 2018
Boasting loads of patterns and directional cuts.

Danish designer Astrid Andersen has made it a habit to make a lasting impression with her seasonal fashion showcases.
For her London Fashion Week: Men‘s presentation, Andersen pulled out all the stops in terms of utilizing everything in her design arsenal — there were bold patterns, vibrant colors, voluminous cuts and odd accessories. Outerwear is a primary focus here as we get new interpretations of the currently trendy quilted down jacket. Plaid, which has always been a pattern rich in history gets a more modern vibe on sportswear pieces. Even plaid masks were used to up the show’s wow factor. All-in-all, Andersen’s Fall/Winter 2018 collection combines themes not normally suited for mixing — there’s a country western meets sportswear meets urban dweller in this kaleidoscopic lineup.
