Rae Sremmurd's Next Project Is a Triple Album
Many more hits are on the way.
Continuing the momentum they’ve built up over the past few years, Rae Sremmurd‘s Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee have some major plans for 2018. Fresh off the release of the massive, Mike WiLL Made-It-propelled posse cut “Aries (Yugo) Part 2” and the official remix of Jhene Aiko’s wildly-successful single “Sativa,” the EarDrummers artists are planning to follow up 2016’s popular SremmLife 2</em >with a triple album.
“We got the Swae Lee, Swaecation, [Slim] Jxmmi’s Jxmtroduction, and then the Rae Sremmurd side,” Mike WiLL Made-It revealed to Pitchfork during a brief Grammys red carpet exchange, explaining that SremmLife 3 will be a “triple disc” release. While the exact title of the effort is unknown, SremmLife 3 is a contender and Sremmin’ is also being considered. Specific details concerning the album are currently being kept under wraps, but expect more information to surface in the coming months.
Earlier this month, Swae Lee took to Twitter to reveal plans for his aforementioned Swaecation solo project.
