Nike‘s newest Air Max 270 model is double-referencing one of the sneakers that inspired its design: the Nike Air Max 180. This Air Max 270 “Ultramarine” colorway is a nod to the Nike Air 180’s OG color scheme, which features a combo of white, “Ultramarine” blue and “Solar Red.”

The progressive silhouette boasts a bold “Solar Red” heel counter and XL Air unit heel bubble, a white forefront midsole and mesh upper, which is underlaid with an “Ultramarine” blue textile layer and Swoosh branding accents throughout.

The Nike Air Max 270 “Ultramarine” will launch on Air Max Day, March 26, alongside other colorways for a retail price of $150 USD. For more renditions, take a closer look at the AM270 “Light Bone/Hot Punch” and “Teal” colorways.
