Nike's Air Max 270 Surfaces in a 'Light Bone/Hot Punch' Colorway
New Air Maxes for the new year.
Following the teasers and leaks last year, the Nike Air Max 270 reappears in a new colorway. As the latest addition to the Air Max family, the sneaker draws much inspiration from notable AM models released in the ’90s — this includes a nod to progressive design elements such as the fully-exposed air unit of the Air Max 93. Designed in a bold red hue, the heel resembles the popularized ‘Infrared’ colorway. Sitting atop the bright sole unit, the upper is constructed with angular black fabric leading to a perforated bone-colored fabric, adding a nice contrast through the naturally occurring color. The lacing system also has an organic feeling, through the asymmetrical laces of the Nike Air Footscapes. Lastly, the futuristic ’AIR270’ logotype appears multiple times on the upper and tongue with some Swooshes sprinkled in for good measure.
The sneaker is set to release on February 1st in multiple colors and we can also expect OG-inspired colorways to drop for Air Max Day 2018.
