Kanye West Denies Any Plans to Make a David Bowie Tribute Album
David Bowie fans can put away the pitchforks now.
Despite rumors that have been making the rounds on the Internet about Kanye West planning to create a tribute album to the late David Bowie, the hip-hop star’s representatives have flatly refuted any plans to bring such an album into reality. This comes after a petition to stop West from doing such a thing, garnering over 5,000 signatures in the process. The rumor was reportedly started by British tabloid paper The Daily Star, but has thankfully come full circle to its conclusion, leaving West to focus on the actual launch of his SWISH album next month. Maybe those 5,000 signees could find a more significant issue to petition in the meantime.
