Justin Timberlake Talks Janet Jackson Wardrobe Malfunction With Zane Lowe
“Bet I’ll have you naked by the end of this song…”
If one hears the words Justin Timberlake and Super Bowl within the same sentence, most are likely to recall his halftime show back in 2004 alongside Janet Jackson when an infamous “wardrobe malfunction” occurred. A decade and change later, the NFL has announced Timberlake will return to perform the halftime show for Super Bowl LII.
In a recent interview with Zane Lowe, Timberlake finally spoke candidly about his previous appearance, saying: “I stumbled through it, to be quite honest, I had my wires crossed and it’s just something that you have to look back on and go like, OK, well you know, you can’t change what’s happened but you can move forward and learn from it.” When Lowe inquired about Timberlake and Jackson’s current relationship as a result of the situation and if the issue’s been resolved, Timberlake noted “Absolutely, yeah. And I don’t know that a lot of people know that. I don’t think it’s my job to do that because you value the relationships that you do have with people.”
