Dr. Woo Tells the Story of 'The Spider & The Fly' Through Converse's Chuck 70
The Mary Howitt poem comes to life.

After working with John Elliot on a special collab that dropped at Union Los Angeles, tattoo artist Dr. Woo is now lending his talents to iconic footwear brand Converse. The famed creative used the Chuck 70 model as his canvas to tell the story of The Spider and the Fly. In detail, the artistry on the sneaker shares the relationship humans have with one another in addition to the bond we have with creatures. Woo expresses that you create your own story within the Chuck 70 the more you wear them, as the spider embroidery will rip, get fuzzy and rough over time.
Delivered in black or white color options, the collaboration will be celebrated at a private event at Maxfield LA with a hyper-limited edition of leather Chuck 70s. These customized pairs will retail for $1,095 USD and will be personally signed, numbered and tattooed by Dr. Woo himself. The general release will take place on January 20 via Converse’s webstore and select retailers.
