Apple Is Slowing Down iPhone X Production

According to reports and analysts alike, Apple will be cutting production on its flagship iPhone X smartphone by lowering component manufacturing. It’s being speculated that iPhone X manufacturing between January to March has been lowered to 19 million, with production forecast lowered by 6 million.

Analyst Credit Suisse states that “planned production of over 60 million units in January–March is higher than that of the iPhone 6 in January–March 2015.” Others speculate that the market is worried that the high price of the iPhone X may weaken demand in the first quarter, confirming predictions made at the tail-end of last year.
