For this week’s music releases, we saw an assortment of new drops from all spectrums of music including singles, albums and mixtapes. In addition, Migos  announced the official release date for the much-anticipated Culture 2 album, while 50 Cent made headlines saying JAY-Z’s 4:44 album made him feel “like Carlton Banks when listening to it.” Meanwhile, the two surviving members of iconic rap group, Beastie Boys, will officially be releasing their memoir in 2018 that will not only tribute their fallen members, but also provide a cultural history of how the group formed. Speaking of tributes, the annual 2018 YAMS Day festivities took place last night in the Bronx but was unfortunately shutdown after shots rang out from an alleged dispute between Tekashi69 and A$AP Bari. Luckily, no one was harmed last night, but concertgoers did miss out on just about every headliner that was scheduled to perform.

Check out the best new music releases from the week down below and let us know what you think in the comment section.
