Benedict Cumberbatch Returns to TV in Showtime Series 'Patrick Melrose'
Benedict portrays the titular character and his struggle with addiction.
Sky Atlantic and Showtime have produced a new limited series called Patrick Melrose starring Sherlock‘s Benedict Cumberbatch. The limited series sees the titular character’s struggle with his traumatic childhood, his subsequent addictions as an adult, and the road towards recovery. In a previous Reddit AMA, the actor admitted to wanting to portray the character at some point in his life.
