Known for his intricate design work, Yves Béhar introduces a lightweight indoor camera capable of disconnecting from its ultra-thin stand. The Hive View‘s compact design allows the camera to easily maneuver wherever it’s placed, as it can rotate and flex with a 130º field of view.

The camera features live HD streaming, person detection, and a history roll that can be accessed at your discretion. The movement/sound activated device begins automatically recording once triggered and sends a notification if something is detected. Footage can only be viewed for 24 hours, unless you decide to get the 30-day history upgrade. It’s cube shape is made of a single molding of PCABS plastic, while its satin finish adds tactility to the design.

Available in black and brushed copper, as well as white and champagne gold, the Hive View is available now in the U.S., Canada, Ireland, and Italy for $256 USD (approx £189 EUR). A two camera pack will run you $432 USD (approx. £319 EUR), and its 30-day camera history subscription costs $6.75 USD a month (approx. £4.99 EUR).
